Noukadubi of Rabindranath Bangla Movie

Noukadubi of Rabindranath Bangla Movie is based on Rabindranath Tagore's novel of the same name. Ramesh (Jisshu Sengupta) and his friend's sister Hemalini (Raima Sen) are in love with each other. On the eve of Hemalini's birthday party, Ramesh receives a letter from his father asking him to return to the his village at once. Ramesh's father then forces him to marry the daughter of a hapless widow.
